Blessing from a stranger~

Yesterday i was siting at the tampines mall mac store de a VERY Corner wall 2-person table waiting for the ebay seller to meet mi...i think at least 5-6 groups of people had changed and seated the table beside mi~~ a few had asked me if the table beside mi was taken, until when i was about to leave...a auntie wore red, holding to the typical small red bag that carries oranges for new year sat beside me~ I notice her taking out a guardian plastic bag, took out a box of plasters and start pasting ALL OVER HER Both FEETS...practically each toe was wrapped with one plaster..i think total amount that she used for one foot is around 5-6 plasters...-_-

Suddenly she pop a question to me~ "Are you local?" (IN ENGLISH)
I stunned abit...but shes not the FIRST ONE who asked mi this qns~ I replied.."Nope...i'm from local" (IN CHINESE) then she didn believe mi and confirm with mi again...

(CAUTION!!! ALL IS IN CHINESE, CONVERT IN YOUR MIND)
Red-Auntie: "Hah? You are really singaporean?"

Me: "Yah, i am born from singapore~"

Red-Auntie: "Ohh...becoz recently there are alot of foreigner students around...i tot you are one of them~"

Me: "Hahahaha, no la...i am singaporean, i'm born here~"
(I was thinking...if she still doesnt believe me!, i was going to show her my IC or licenses..whatever cards that will proves me is a Singaporean!)

Red-Auntie: "Ohh....I was wondering why you are alone here with laptops and like soo ke lian during cny chu san~"

Me: "No la...i am waiting for my friends to watch movie later~ they are late~~ meanwhile i was doing some stuff to kill some time~"

Red-Auntie: "i walked too much, hurt my feets...now plastering them (laugh), I walk 500-600m from changi hospital to the simei mrt~"

Me: "Ohh....AUntie you should had wore shoe mah.."

Red-Auntie: "No la...even though i wore shoes will be still the same~~~"

Red-Auntie: "Ohh....So are you student, studying?"

Me: "I am working now~"

Red-Auntie: "Izzit!? working for government? or private?"

Me: "I am working for private company..."

Red-Auntie: "Private company Good good~!!! how old are you?"

Me: "I'm 25 this year~"

Red-Auntie: "So...you have Girlfriend? (soft tone)"

Me: "HUH!? What did you ask againz?"


Red-Auntie: "You have girlfriend? (slightly louder)"

Me: "Ohh...don have don have~"
(AT this point of time, i was wondering if this auntie will recommand her daughter...or whoever to me...but disappointed..she didn...HEng SHE DIDN REcommand HERSELF TO ME...but then...she continue to question my background~)

Red-Auntie: "Ohhh You look soo Young...which University you graduated from?"

Me: "Australia~ Brisbane at Queensland~"

Red-Auntie: "Ohh No wonder you don have the local look~~!"

Me: "ohh...hahaha (Ang Shuang) isnt it better like this?"

Red-Auntie: "How long did you spend to study over there?"

Me: "i studied only for 1 1/2 years~ coz i had exemptions from poly, so I skipped directly to year 2 2nd semester~"

Red-Auntie: "Soo Fast~~! go out study is better right? at least better than local unis hor?"

Me: "OK la...But i don like local's U course~ =X"

Red-Auntie: "Ohhh...ok la I got to go already, Happy New year to you~~!" (Reach out and hold onto my right hand) "Zhu ni Xin xiang shi chen, Bu Bu Gao Sheng~~!"

Me: "Zhu Ni Xin Nian Kuai le~~~"

and she stood up..
(Auntie...actually my number is.....) and she walked away...
